The rumor is $100mil and that's floating around at E3 right now, not just the net. If so, MS wasted their money cause the console war effect will be found in Japan where FFXIII is still PS3 exclusive.
is the fact that XBOX doesn't get a version in Sony and Square's home territory and where FFXIII's biggest impact will be felt in the console war. If you want to be all fanboy about it, you LOSE.
Then again, if you want to be a gamer about it, we all win cause we both get to play it. Albeit, judging by recent articles, 360 MAY have to wait a bit, but we'll see.
EDIT: Also note that it's idiots like you that have been bashing this game for 2 years and now all of ...
...my most wanted title on PS3, haha. Too many great games coming.
switch subtitles to english and experiment with the controls through import....that could work.
I believe Canadian copyright laws prevent us from even having a PS video store...*sigh*. PS Blog had a bunch of info on this earlier.
I'm importing man, screw that! Unless of course that's wrong (hope so)
That ruin gaming for what it is: having fun. All he cares about is that PS3 has one less exclusive in NA and EU (not where it sells of course *cough* Japan). But rather, he's just happy that it's not PS3 exclusive even though he'll never play it. Makes no sense and I don't care to argue it.
But this and the careful reading of the quote Jack Bauer just provided prove it is very possible PS3 timed exclusive may be FFXIII's release follow through. There won't be a PS3 release delay, but the 360 version, if it drags behind, might have to wait.
Sony had all the good 1st party exclusives at E3 and now it looks like not only will they get FFXIII exclusive in Japan (home territory for both Sony and Square) but timed exclusive in NA and EU at this rate. So much for Microsofts big E3 showing eh?
Too bad for 360 gamers. Looks like Sony gamers may see FFXIII exclusive in Japan come early 2009 and timed exclusive for NA and EU late 2009 while the XBOX crowd may have to wait until mid 2010 for a port.
Own everything exclusive to Wii and 360.
To ensure the console capability limits don't gimp what SHOULD be the defining game in the RPG genre which may not be the case without blu-ray and The Cell. Not being a fanboy, just saying.
Relying on 1st party exclusives rather than making a third party exclusive multiplatform. Sony basically stole the show and the media's heart with one game, Killzone 2. THEN they added the likes of Motorstorm 2, Resistance 2, Infamous and God of War III to put Microsoft and Nintendo to shame. If this isn't the momentum the PS3 needs I don't know what is.
ARE ABOSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR THE PS3 RPG COLLECTION TO ACTUALLY LOOK RESPECTABLE. This exclusive has me very hyped.
With Resistance 2 and Killzone eating the FPS limelight, I wonder if Sony is behind the Bungie offering of the future? If so...man that would completely overshadow the FFXIII Multiplatform announcement from Monday wouldn't it?
Is just fine with me. September is for SOCOM, November for Resistance 2, Valkyria Chronicles and Motorstorm 2. LittleBigPlanet is gonna be huge!
well, not the Killzone 2 one, that's for sure. But Morgan seemed flustered and almost uninterested at times in this one...like she was last year with Ratchet even though she admits to being one of the series' biggest fans. Maybe she's just anti-social?
It was meant to be since E3 2005.
It has sold well on PS3 and its specs are basically PS3 specific console wise. And yeah, Blu-Ray disc capacity has a lot to do with it. It's PS3's killer-app...for the first half of 2008.
Now comes Resistance 2, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift and soon, 2008 KILLZONE 2!!!! and Infamous and GOD OF WAR III!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a pretty pathetic excuse to get quick hits. I review Gears of War 2 a 5/10 cause it looks just like Gears one and IGN says it has framerate issues. 5/10, that's final. lol.
